So difficult to find this fine – this Mercedes racer has a sparkling gloss white original finish, red diecast wheels, blue metal driver. Early issue.

None of the usual dulling/rubbing on the raised wheel arches. Just one probably as-made dot to the bonnet racing number and a few little speckled marks to the driver’s head. Dot or two besides if you hunt for them!
The box is very clean and bright, with minimal wear at end flaps. Shopkeeper’s lightly pencilled price at an end flap.

Just delightful!
Despite being the ‘standard’ variation, we have had to look long and hard to find another in this condition. So many of the supposedly ‘rarer’ versions come to light with plastic wheels etc.!
