This popular Gift Set inspired by the t.v. series ‘The Avengers’ was issued between 1966-69.
It comprises:
1) John Steed’s Bentley in red and black finish, complete with all parts, and including the figure of John Steed at the wheel. With just two or three small marks away from mint!
2) Emma Peel’s Lotus Elan S2 is in excellent plus condition, with a sparkling white finish. It has a few more marks, mainly occurring during transit to us (insufficiently packed). Not due to playwear. Suspension on shaped spun wheels. Intact original windscreen Original figure of Emma Peel.
Two little umbrellas included (accurate reproductions).
Inner card plinth is vibrantly-coloured with lots of atmospheric artwork and none of the expected tears at wheels slots. Minor front edge ruffling and a start of a very small tear. Both pull-out end tabs are present and intact. Minor card ruffle/light wear besides. No graffiti. Presents well:
Outer box is clean and strongly-coloured. Some creasing at one non-picture side and one small end flap has been re-attached. Minor wear besides. No graffiti.
