A striking Rover Saloon – and one of our favourites from this outstanding Dinky collection we are handling. With a wonderfully vibrant intense deep blue and rich cream finish, this example was made between 1956-59.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the baseplate.
A couple of small marks away from mint (e.g. a dot at a wheel arch, one on the roof and a couple at the rear window detail). Small line of cream paint visible at a window edge (factory).
This fine car displays extremely well!
The pictorial box shows the single colour versions, although it has the blue colour spot at the end flaps. Couple of pencil marks on the top surface and a small tear at an end flap seam. A little light creasing besides.
