Notes
A transition issue made during 1959, this fine French Dinky Fire Engine is in all original and complete condition with a bright red and silver finish, red metal concave wheels, cream steering wheel and a very bright baseplate. The occasional little mark may be seen if you look closely enough and there is a little dulling on the arm of one winding handle. Bright clean white tyres, and shiny metal parts.
The dual-numbered striped picture box is exceptionally bright and clean with no splits or graffiti. Yellow card insert has a re-attached small piece of card which slides down inside the box. Complete with packing piece too.
Meccano Controle (Quality Control) stamp on the inside of the box lid.
A very fine example indeed.
