One of the premium items from an extensive Dinky collection we are handling, this is a rare model finished in deep red with a dark green back. In all original, virtually perfect condition:
With a fine lustre to the paint finish, this example has obviously been handled rarely.
None of the usual chips to the front bumper or indeed at exposed edges. One small casting mark on the roof and the rivet has lost a little of the silver finish around the edges. Tiny amount of rust around the rivet securing the spare wheel. One or two tiny marks besides if you look hard enough!
The box is a fitting partner – very crisp, fresh and bright with vibrant colours on sturdy carefully handled card. Tiny start of a tear at an end flap seam. Pencilled shopkeeper’s price at an end flap.
