Issued during 1961 by the respected Spot-on manufacturer in strictly 1:42 scale. It has been a long time since we have offered one of these sought after milk floats – and this is one of the best we have seen!
A lustrous all original brick red and white finish with the delicate transfers notably complete on both sides. ‘UNITED DAIRIES’ lettering and crest is unrubbed too. Number plates are complete. Obviously an unused item which has survived extremely well. Nonetheless, the little white elastic bands have perished now (as usual), so these accurate replacements have been fitted instead.
Upon minute inspection, there are a couple of probably as-made dots to the finish and a couple of marks, as well as a few spots of yellowing, inside the bed.
The picture box is complete and vividly-coloured with a little wear at end flaps and a small water stain. No graffiti. Small repaired surface tear (not pictured).
