What a find! This card outer trade box from Dinky contains the full complement of six Packard Convertible models as sent from the factory in 1955. All contents are authentic – this is not a later made-up selection of models.
In the trade outer are three tan examples and three green. Each model has a day-one lustre to the paint finish, although you will find occasional little marks.
The individual boxes are really crisp, clean and bright – quite difficult to prise open in fact. Each has the correct colour spot, and of course, no individual prices pencilled.
The trade outer in buff card is clean, bright and complete with no tears. Remains of the old sellotape may be found at the end flaps. No graffiti. Nice unruffled card – this trade box has been carefully handled and stored. Dinky stamp on one side dates this pack from 1955.
