2) Dinky 955 Fire Engine is in near mint condition with an all original vivid red paint finish, ridged Supertoy wheels, bright baseplate and both ladder components and bells present. Looks bright and fresh! None of the usual chipping/wear to the bright silver ladder. A few minor marks to the red paint finish at roof edge and where the ladder rests.

In near mint condition with a few little marks at the front bumper and at some exposed edges.

All three items display well!

The all important outer box has fared very well. The colours are vibrant, the box is clean and looks as if it has been carefully stored and handled.

One carefuly repaired corner split and the occasional little ruffle, light crease besides. Original shopkeeper’s price is just about visible on the lid. Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this particular example from 1959 – the first year of production of this set.
Nice to see that both inner packing pieces are still present. Dinky Quality Control Tag is still tucked inside the box, too!
