Re-numbered from 25Y in 1954, this early issue has a vivid red original finish and matching metal wheels, bright tinplate screen in black and metal steering wheel, spare wheel. Hard to imagine better!
Silky matt baseplate:
In glowing mint condition, although there are a couple of raised casting dots on the inside of the rear of the jeep and a minor area of rough casting near the tow hook.
The card box is wondefully bright, crisp and clean, complete with all end flaps. A couple of light pen marks at one picture side.
Correct colour spot. Fresh and crisp. Shopkeeper’s penned price at an end flap.
From an exacting collector who has put together a wonderful collection over decades, painstakingly upgrading until he had the best example of each model.
