Notes
An early Corgi non-mechanical classic car issued in various colours between 1956-61. This light grey issue is more often found as the mechanical version. This example presents beautifully with a fine light grey finish, looking completely unused with attractive silver detailing (original) at radiator, headlights and bumpers. Bright flat spun wheels.
Upon minute scrutiny, one may see a tiny dot or two, but this example is the finest shade off absolutely mint. Such a wonderful lustre to the paint finish too!
The early blue picture box is crisp and complete if slightly grubby with a little wear and start of a tear at an end flap. Shopkeeper’s penned price at one non-picture face. Comes complete with the promotional colour booklet often included with these early issues.
