Such a high lustre to this wonderful shop-fresh truck in two-tone blue finish, with shaped spun wheels. This model was issued between 1957-65. In gleaming mint condition, although the eagle-eyed collector may spot the tiniest mark at a back edge (probably as-made). Spare wheel stowed underneath. Brightest baseplate and metal parts. A glowing example – fit to grace any collection.
The box is really fresh and bright with vibrant colours on crisp barely handled card. Some minor surface grubbiness on the underside and a flick of pen. Shopkeeper’s neatly pencilled price at an end flap.
Surely none better!
This exacting collector would continually upgrade until he found the best possible example. The collection he compiled is the result of many years of searching…
