Early issue example (1949-50) in all original condition with a bright mid blue finish, darker blue tinplate tilt with perfect-very close to perfect attractive detailed transfers “Societe National Des Chemins De Fer Francais” on both sides, black ridged wheels, ‘M’ embossed tyres, bright button-ended axles and importantly a cast-in tow hook.

Rather a rough casting to the cab in particular with only the occasional very minor rub etc. Minor marking only to the undented tinplate tilt.
Never individually boxed, but sold from a shopkeeper’s trade box.
Very difficult to find in any condition.
