Issued during 1954, this model marks the transition from the earlier numbering (40B). Both numbers are stamped on the box ends. This is a fine example in deep fawn with green ridged wheels, looking barely handled with a fine lustre and bright original silver detailing at the radiator and headlights.
Early 151 style baseplate with small print and rails detail. Just a couple of marks at the rear and one on the bonnet, a few minor marks besides.
The bright dual-numbered box is complete, with the correct colour spot at the end flap.
A little shelf grubbiness and a faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s price on one picture face.
