Issued between 1946-47, this model would originally have been sold from a shopkeeper’s box of six.
An exciting model of the MG in which Major Gardner reached speeds of over 200 miles per hour in 1939.
This example has had careful use only, seldom handled, with a fine sheen to the paint finish with complete transfers throughout.

Bright baseplate too with ‘MG Record Car’ on the base:

Black ridged wheels, and smooth black original tyres that run freely and have no flat spots.
Only a minor mark/rub or two. Fine lustre.
Not an easy find in this condition.
