Notes
The first Police car made by Corgi between 1958-61. First issue had flat spun wheels, this is a more unusual find with shaped spun wheels. This example is in fantastic condition – obviously barely handled with a gleaming gloss black finish, intact Police sign on the roof, straight aerial and a bright baseplate.
Hard to find any marks at all on this fine car – just one negligible rub at a window edge, otherwise mint! Hard to downgrade for that.
The more unusual plain stamped end card box is bright and crisp, with only the most minor handling wear. Shopkeeper’s price at an end flap. Complete with buff coloured early ‘Moorgate’ Corgi Club Membership Form!
