A fine and original example of this early version made between 1953-54 (later renumbered 981). It is cast in aluminium and has a very lustrous deep maroon paint finish, which is close to perfect. Little marks, mostly at the opening side and rear doors. Complete lettering at both sides and above the cab. A lovely and carefully handled example, one of the nicest we have seen in a long while. Looks day-one bright with none of the expected marks on the raised roof details or indeed head-on.

It comes in the correct, early, deep blue box with clean and bright paper labels.

A little edge nibbling in places. No graffiti. Complete and vivid Hudson Dobson (export) label in place too.
