Notes
Complete with all 12 different signs, issued between 1953-65. The occasional little mark on the signs, but each looks bright and fresh and fits securely into its individual slot in the inner card piece (no tears to the slots).
However, at some time, the original owner has made pencil drawings of the signs on the inner card behind each sign.
Minor age wear and grubbiness to the lid. Shopkeeper’s pencilled price of 4/- is marked on the lid.
Dinky stamp inside the lid dates this particular set from 1954.
