Notes
Issued between 1956-61. Straight from a private collection, this model is in all-original condition, and a more difficult find in all pale yellow finish (usual version has a red roof). Flat spun wheels and a shining tinplate baseplate. A bright paint finish and of course, the eye-catching silver detail on the bonnet, radiator and bumpers is all original and gleaming bright!
Probably as-made, but upon the closest inspection a couple of negligible pinprick dots may be seen and there is a very small casting mark on the roof. (Being extra-fussy here!) Obviously, this car has spent most of its fifty + years in its vivid crisp box.
So difficult to find these early blue boxes in this condition. Crisp, clean and bright with plenty of spring in the end flaps. Shopkeeper’s price at one end flap.
