This is an early issue of this Dinky classic
(1954-60)in fawn and green finish with tinplate shutters and window glazing. In complete, original and working condition, this example would be extremely difficult to beat. Such a gleaming paint finish and bright metal parts – even the tyres bear the powdered finish they were given at the factory. So unused!
One small mark at the front section of the tipping area which is only visible when the back is elevated – otherwise difficult to fault.
This is Dinky at its best!
The paler yellow picorial box is crisp and complete with all end flaps intact. A little shelf grubbiness.
