One of the most prestigious Dinky models you can own; this is the sought-after ‘Lyons Swiss Rolls’ Dinky Guy Van model issued during 1952 only. Notoriously difficult to find in mint or even close to mint condition, this example is one of the nicest we have seen in a long while with a fine lustrous paint finish, happily free from re-touching or repainting, so often present in these high profile Dinky models. Distinctive transfers are close to mint on both sides making this an impressive item to add to your collection:

A little of the usual flecking to the paint finish that this particular model nearly always seems to have. Minimal marking in the usual places i.e. rear doors and exposed edges, a couple of dots at some wheel arches. There is a small scratch at the ‘Y’ of Lyons.
The model has a pleasing lustrous paint finish. Underneath, looks very bright and shiny too:

The box is in excellent condition with a bright and complete paper label. Strong colours throughout on this box and no graffiti, unless you count the faintly pencilled shopkeeper’s original price of 6/10 at one end. No splits.

You may have to wait a long time to find another as nice.
