Issued between 1948-52, this is an early 1st type truck with fine tread radial tyres, including the spare tyre. A classic Dinky model with a bright red cab, silver flash, radiator with clear “FODEN” lettering, fawn tank. Intact ladder and filler caps on the tank.

None of the often present corrosion or denting/scratching to the tank which is actually very close to mint. The model is graded excellent due to some chipping on the cab roof, cab head-on and at wheel arches.

20mph sign is still in place on rear wheel arch, tow hook.
The early style blue box with paper label is the correct type for this age of model.

It is sound, although there is some notable grubbiness and scuffing and a little childish scribble. The inside of the box is quite heavily ink stained.
