Corgi Toys 267 Batmobile

Notes

This early example of the early issue Corgi Batmobile is in close to mint condition. Unmistakably silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).

Suspension on front wheels. Bright mid-blue screens and both seated figures of Batman and Robin. Shiny chrome to launching tubes and cockpit (complete), vivid Bat hubs and Bat logos on both sides. Intact aerial. Pulsating flame, chain cutter and rocket launchers work well.

A few little marks to the paint finish. Very minor hairline crack in the windscreen (Batman side). In all original condition.
Card inner is so fresh, crisp and bright. Couple of the tiniest wheel slot tears. The close to pristine condition of the inner with the vivid artwork enhances this set.
Reverse:

The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened and inside there is the full complement of accessories, i.e. INstructions, full sprue of missiles, Badge & additional features slip.

The colourfully illustrated outer box impresses with bright colours on fresh card. This continues the close to old shop stock condition of the packaging for this rare Batmobile. With card packing piece and card packing ring.

Such a scarce Corgi iconic item to add to your collection.
