Notes
It is such a delight to come upon these very early Dinky Delivery Vans and this one has clear, original gold lettering on both sides. The model is complete with no parts broken or missing. This is the third type Delivery Van and is without crazing or fatigue.
This early commercial Dinky is the third type issue and it is a particularly difficult find. Rich deep red, complemented by virtually complete glistening gold lettering on both sides and smooth black wheels. Original black tyres run freely although as is so often the case, soe warping/wear to two. Bright silver trim.
Crazing to the paint finish but no crazing to the metal beneath. Open rear windows. Thick axles. Wartime issue.
A light peppering of small marks to the paint finish. to the paint finish.
A delight to own – these early advertising vans are in extremely short supply!
