Issued 1948-52, this scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry is finished in rich mid-blue, grey and red, with a red fuel tank. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast constructional models made between 1948-52 by this British manufacturer. Sold with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx. With Shackleton decorative transfer behind the cab notably complete.
Working clockwork function.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath.

Barely a mark but very faint ‘mottling’ in places to the flatbed.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. A little wear particularly at edges as you might expect. R A little rusting at staples. No seam tears or repairs.
Original tools and key with plain buff card tray.

8-Ton Dyson Trailer in matching finish has a complete ‘Dyson’ transfer. Close to mint condition with a few small ‘bloomed’ areas’ at side edges mostly. Card insert for trailer.
