These are part of a cache of mid 1960’s models which included colour trial models, donated to Barnardo’s Charity upon the death of a relative. The Barnardo’s charity shop is located just a few minutes from the old Corgi headquarters….
Finished in this striking fawn & sky blue, these Pennyburn Trailer colour trial models are a delight! Each one was a considered version in fawn and sky blue, although these versions did not make it past the colour trial stage. They are a little piece of Corgi history and unique!
Original Corgi stamped tyres are well-shaped. Tow hook. Rivetted base. With original shovel and broom with two examples.
Several little marks to the paint finish.
