Notes
A very fine set of Gauge ‘O’ figures, issued during January 1939. All gleaming bright, colourful figures which have never been removed from the colourful backdrop card insert.
Each brightly-coloured figure measures approx. 40mm. Correct figures (4a Electrician, 2 × 4Bb Fitter, 4c Storekeeper, 4d Greaser, 4e Engine Room Attendant).
Very near mint – virtually mint!
The vivid green, lift-off lid box is very clean, bright and fresh. Only the most minor handling wear and a very small ink smudge at a lid end. With early U.S. Export label in vivid red.
Exceptional quality that belies the age.
With ‘REISS’ Toy Shop label on the underside (New York).
