Dinky Toys 965 Euclid Rear Dump Truck
Euclid Rear Dump Truck by Dinky Toys, No. 965. Very near mint/boxed, with card packing. Scarce with window glazing and red-backed Logo. From The Berlin Collection.
Price: £165.00
Notes
This is the slightly later issue, made between 1959-61 with window glazing and a red-backed ‘Euclid’ logo at the sides. Such a fine Supertoy from Dinky’s heyday; surely every child from the mid 50’s-60’s remembers it well! Very difficult to find absolutely mint. The truck has a lovely, bright, light yellow, (notably) all-original paint finish, complete “Euclid” lettering, logo, and wording on both sides.
A few incidental marks only. Working mechanism for raising and lowering the tipper. And such a bright metal winding handle!
The striped Supertoys box is bright, complete and clean. Very close to mint – and no punctures. With card packing piece.
Surely an under-valued Dinky Truck. An all original example in such a fresh box is a worthy investment piece.
