In all original condition, this smaller scale Dinky commercial model was made between 1954-64 in a variety of colours. This model has a burnt orange and green finish and is a harder find than the standard bright orange & green version. _Note that this early issue has the casting detail at the sides of the bonnet, not present in the later issues where this detail has been lost _.
Wonderful original sheen on this example. Bright tipping lever and metal parts generally. Fine original silver trim. Smooth tyres.
Hard to find this good!
Take a look at this example in the foreground when placed alongside the later issue in brighter orange, without bonnet louvres. With treaded tyres and ‘414’ on the base.
Presented in the bright picture box with the correct colour spot. Card has light age/handling wear includes a minor corner crumple.
