Issued during 1953-54, this Double-Decker Bus has a glossy red finish, with a cream mid-line, most attractive colourful advertisements for ‘MINIC Clockwork CARS’ and ‘OVALTINE’ at the sides. Complete ‘PEDIGREE PRAMS’ transfer at the rear . Complete ‘Putney’ destination (both ends) with registration LBL 174.
Working clockwork function. Seating. Grey plastic wheels. Smooth original black tyres are well-shaped. Shiny radiator and headlight assembly.
A beautiful period display piece!
Hard to find a mark although note there is a careful touch-in to the green background of the OVALTINE transfer.
Colourful and complete end flap style card box has a few small seam tears and age wear besides.
With MINIC Key and colourful promotional concertina-style booklet.
