An impressive military Gift Set made between 1957-65. This set comprises:
1) Dinky 660 Mighty Antar Tank Transporter is in authentic condition – obviously unused and rarely handled, this model has a delicate matte deep military green finish. With window glazing. Bright axles and metal fittings.Very close to mint finish. lIttle chip at the back of the roof. Such a difficult item to find absolutely mint!
2) Dinky 651 Centurion Tank has a pleasing sheen to the deep military green finish. Just one little mark. Untarnished baseplate, and smooth supple tracks.
Of course, both items turn up regularly enough individually – but rarely as a Gift Set.
The cream card insert with backdrop is intact and bright with no wear at the wheel slots.
A very pleasing backdrop for both military pieces and adding to the desirability and value of this set.
The large striped Supertoys box is bright, fresh, clean and complete.
Traces of the old tape that kept the lid closed.
Hard to find in this condition!
