Notes
A quite remarkable find! This is a late issue BOAC COach in deepest blue with a crisp white roof. ‘BRITISH OVERSEAS AIRWAYS CORPORATION’ lettering is complete on both sides. The BOAC lettering in yellow as well as the distinctive gold Speedbird emblem is complete and intact. Shiny base. Noteworthy that this model has shaped spun wheels.Very rare indeed. Wiht well-shaped treaded tyres.
Occasional minor mark to the paint finish.
The rare theme continues with this plain yellow end flap style box with Dinky Toys and informative print in red on all sides. Light age/handling wear. Colours are vibrant, card is crisp and intact A little storage grubbiness. No graffiti unless you count the lightly pencilled shopkeeper’s period price on an end flap.
