Issued between 1962-70, this very fine item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit has a vivid red finish, a harder find with cast wheels, clean and complete paper labels throughout and a bright blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Virtually mint paint finish.
The model comes with the full complement of six grey horses, as well as the original card packing and bands* for each horse.
The card plinth is complete, bright and fresh. Tiny wear/marking from the Transporter.
Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing sleeve – so often discarded.
The outer box is strongly coloured, clean and complete. Looks very fresh. Crisp.
So close to old shop stock quality – a rare find in this condition.
