Notes

Issued 1938-40, this is a precious survivor from the earliest period of Dinky production.
This set contains 2 x Medium Bombers (shadow shaded) in complete and intact condition, correct with one roundel on each. Each Bomber is firmly slotted into the shaped insert and they do not appear to have been removed from the cream-coloured card insert (or certainly only very rarely!). Nevertheless, over time, the aircraft have developed some light marking/chipping.
No fatigue and the wheels are still firmly in place.
The card insert has no tears or graffiti, and the printed details are unrubbed. Light foxing. No signs of stress or tearing at the formed section into which the wheels slot.
The powder blue lift-off lidded box is complete and intact, if showing a little edge wear/rubbing as you might expect.
