An impressive Studebaker model with a sleek and original very pale grey finish with a lustrous maroon roof and side panels. Towing eye on the baseplate. Shiny convex wheels and smooth, well-shaped tyres.
Scarce issue in close to mint, original condition.
The pictorial box is complete, clean and brightly-coloured with a crisp feel. Lightest wear and remains of a price label on an end flap. Penned re-numbering at end flaps (perhaps by the shopkeeper?). This model was re-numbered to 540 in 1959.
