Notes
This classic Dinky Rover Saloon was made between 1956-59 in this two-tone green finish. Wonderfully glossy finish and this particular colour version (darker green lower & lighter green upper) is subtly different from the more standard version and more difficult to find.
Note that this example has the large print and 156 on the shiny baseplate:
For comparison only, please take a look at this example on the right when placed alongside the version with a brighter green lower and a not so pale green upper:
Pleasing lustre to the original paint finish throughout. Very close to mint. Smooth original tyres (one very slightly misshapen).
The pictorial box is bright, clean, fresh and complete. Crisp. Correct green colour spot at the end flaps. Very minor wear.
