Notes

A rare find.
This Military Covered Wagon was part of a small number of models exported to the U.S. and sold for a very short time (most likely just one year , i.e. 1950). This model has a distinctive matte military green finish, silver headlights (unlike the Dinky 25BM South African issue), matching tinplate canopy, type 4 chassis with a front bumper, intact radiator and headlight assembly. With matching ridged wheels and smooth well-shaped tyres.
Apparently, this particular version was never shown in catalogues but reference to this version has been found on a typewritten price list issued with the 1950 USA Catalogue for Hudson & Dobson (U.S. distributors).
