Corgi Toys 1139 Chipperfield's Menagerie

Notes

A colourful Chipperfields item first issued in 1968.
It contains a Scammell truck with three decorative plastic cages containing two lions, two tigers and two bears. This example has a bright red and blue paint finish, jewelled headlights and Chipperfields label at cab front. Highly detailed decorative labels on both sides are notably complete.
Intact leaf suspension.

The plastic cages are complete and intact with all animals enclosed inside (no plastic bubbles surrounding them). No black elastic bands which fasten the cages to the trailer now (often missing). Very close to mint, glossy original paint finish.
Bright and clean polystyrene inner.
The large window box has strong colours, particularly attractive colourful scene on box reverse. Card is tear-free. Original cellophane is intact.
Light wear.
