Notes

Most sought-after, scarce 1st issue version of this Fordson Power Major tractor with metal front and rear wheels.

C55n7012

C55n7011

Production of this model began in 1961 with metal wheels front and back, (later versions would have plastic front wheels in the same colour finish).
This example has a lustrous light blue paint finish with perfect transfers at both sides. Intact and original throughout. Upon close examination of the blue finish, one can see a chip at a wheel arch and a few tiny marks besides. One rear wheel has a little marking to the finish. The silver seat and steering wheel have slight rubs now. Intact and bright chimney stack.
A very nice example from the childhood collection of models just in.
The crisp blue and yellow pictorial box is in superb condition with vivid colours and barely any wear at all. Looks virtually shop-fresh!

C55n7014

The underside of the box has a pencilled price erased. Nice to see that this example comes complete with the original card packing piece which protects the tractor inside the box: C55n7013

A fine example of this first issue model and the first we have offered for sale in a long, long time!
