Notes
A nice and original example in the more unusual colour finish, i.e. mid blue cab and chassis, with deep orange-yellow back and yellow wheels. This fine Dinky toy has obviously spent most of its forty five years or so in the box:
A few little marks to the yellow back, including at the tow hook area, which barely detract. The cab and chassis in a distinctive shade of mid blue is virtually mint. The fresh and bright yellow picture box is a very attractive example with only the most minor wear. Vibrant strong colours and no splits or graffiti.
Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this model precisely from March 1960 (issued between 1956-63).
Not an easy find in this condition – especially this more unusual colour issue. Always a particular pleasure to handle a childhood collection of toys which have been much loved and carefully handled over the years.
