A classic Dinky model issued during 1954 marking the transition from the older numbering from 31A to 450. An exceptional find – this is the so difficult to find deep red ESSO Trojan Van wiht maroon wheels! All original vibrant finish with a bright baseplate and complete ‘ESSO’ transfers on both sides.
Tyres are well-shaped, fine silver trim. A wonderful display piece!
Take a look at this model on the left when set alongside the more usual version in a lighter red with red wheels:
The harder to find transition numbered box is bright and complete, if showing a little age/handling wear now. Still a crisp feel.
