Dinky Toys 407 Ford Transit Van 'Hertz Truck Rental'

First issue (1966-69) in the range of transit vans produced by Dinky in various colour finishes and liveries. This example is in very close to mint condition in vivid deep yellow, with red interior, and a sliding side door, opening rear doors. Jewelled headlights. Black base. Complete ‘HERTZ TRUCK RENTAL’ labels on one side (small nick to the label on the other side) and a small corner label nick to the label at the rear opening doors. Original ‘L’ registration plates front and rear. Shiny wheels. As-new original tyres. Silver trim.

Couple of extra strokes of factory yellow paint on the bonnet. Couple of small depressed points on the roof.
The colourful pictorial end flap box is bright and clean. Hard to find these late card boxes in good condition since the van is heavy in comparison to the relatively flimsy card box. Very minor wear only.
