Notes
This is a superb example of an early commercial Dinky made between 1948-52. Fresh first type dark green cab and chassis, bright mid green back, ridged hubs. In original condition throughout, this truck has such a fine lustre to the finish, it looks shop-fresh!
Upon minute examination, a few small marks may be found (if one looks hard enough!), and there is a slight bend to the tailboard (as-made).
The striped card box is a fitting partner – bright and complete with no splits. Shopkeeper’s price has been largely removed from the lid.
Ex-shop stock quality item, this example still has the card packing piece which fits behind the cab.
