This version with unpierced detailing at the beam beneath the logs, was issued towards the end of the production run (1959-71). Lustrous, virtually flawless, deep orange cab, yellow back with metal spindles and realistic log load! Concave, metal yellow painted wheels.

Note the unpierced detailing of this later issue:

A few tiny pinprick marks only – this truck has barely been out of its box. Bright metal parts too, including the baseplate.
The striped Supertoys box is clean and bright with no splits or graffiti. Minimal wear only.

‘Meccano Controle’ stamp on the inside of the box lid.
Harder to find than the standard pierced trailer version.
