Always a sought-after Corgi toy, this James Bond Aston Martin is a superb first issue casting (production run 1965-69). Note the indicator light casting and double side vent present on this early issue.

This exciting and iconic car is in all original condition with none of the reproduction accessories, rife with this issue.
The car is fully functioning, complete with both figures. This James Bond Aston Martin has a very close to mint, all original, glossy gold finish.
Suspension. Fine tread original tyres are well-shaped.

Small mark on the roof front edge and a stray dab of factory silver immediately above the radiator. These details were hand-applied at the factory.
The 1st issue card plinth (i.e. without arrow on the red section where the model is placed) is complete, fresh, crisp and brightly-coloured. As-new look and feel.

The 1st issue outer box impresses with a so close to old shop appearance. Pleasing silky feel to the barely handled card. Note that since it is 1st issue, there is no shading detail around the lettering ASTON MARTIN DB5 on the box face and no thick black border around the JAMES BOND’S lettering, either. Period price label at an end flap.
