Notes
A scarce set. Issued between 1959-63, it comprises:
i) 350 Thunderbird Missile in silver with a red nose cone, on Trailer (RAF Blue finish with black plastic swivelling wheels, black plastic tow ring and metal clips to hold the missile in place). Close to mint with the occasional mark at some exposed edges.
ii) 351 Land Rover in RAF Blue finish with a tin tilt, flat spun wheels (shiny), tow hook, well-shaped, original tyres and spare on the bonnet. Outstanding lustre. So close to mint. Shiny base.
The slightly later blue & yellow picture box is a little harder to find (more often found in the earlier blue picture box). Crisp, showing light wear/grubbiness.
