Inspired by the Gerry Anderson Thunderbirds T.V. series from the ’60’s. This Fab 1 model is finished in non-fluorescent pink, with a clear sliding roof, silver base.
Gold interior and both original seated figures of Lady Penelope and Parker. It comes complete with an intact bonnet emblem, jewelled headlights and intact front and rear number plates.* A scarce transition issue with these ‘Mustang-style’ wheels* on the 2nd issue.
The Fab 1 presents very well indeed.
Working firing mechanism.
The car comes complete with a firing rocket and four rear harpoons still in sealed packet and correctly stapled to the card inner.
The colourful card stand is crisp and bright. A little wear to the black card where the car sits (this is a heavy vehicle).
Instructions are on the reverse of the card stand, detailing how to fire the front rocket and rear harpoons.
The pictorial card box is complete and bright. A little age/handling wear and a tape repair to the tuck-in pat of one large end flap.
