A rare item from the respected Britains Company and only the second we have ever offered for sale. It is so exciting to find these early Britains models in such fine, completely unused and authentic condition. Virtually mint!
This wonderful set comprises:
1) Fordson Major Tractor *in vibrant deep blue with burnt orange wheels, driver figure, supple original tyres. Note that this item contains comparatively delicate components – and has survived intact. With driver.
2) *Pale green and tan Trailer with black wheels and supple original tyres. Complete with intact tow pin and hitch. Clockwork motor works well.
Note the little area of rough casting at a wheel arch. All original card packing pieces and crumpled original paper tissue are still present (this includes both of the separate card packing pieces, and corrugated card). Original metal key.
So pleased to see that the original informative Leaflet is included too:
Even the Quality Control Slip is still present.
The vibrant and sturdy card box with lift-off lid is clean and vibrant, rarely handled with an intact bright yellow paper label with illustration.
With card packing and (we believe) some original tissue wrapping.
A small fleck of surface loss and a little part-puncture on one side. Light wear besides.
