A very rare find indeed.
This Heavy Duty Lorry with Driver in deep gloss blue was made for a short period 1947-48 in this colour finish. Using the casting from the military green issue made 1940-41.
In very close to mint condition with scarcely a mark. Silver trim. 18 wheels. Well-shaped treaded tyres. With two opening compartments.
Sturdy red lift-off lid box has a complete illustrated paper label. Very light wear onky to this fine box.
