Notes
Such a vivid finish on this scarce British heavyweight Foden Platform Lorry. Bright yellow, grey and red. Beautifully constructed, this was part of a small range of diecast construction models made by this British manufacturer. Sold at the time with the necessary tools to take apart and rebuild, this Foden model measures 32cms x 9.5cms. approx.
Complete with spare wheel stowed underneath. Clockwork function works. In honest condition with chipping to the paint finish as may be seen in the images.
Especially difficult to find with its distinctive sturdy colourful card box. Some wear as you might expect (rubbing, scuffing, grubbiness and marking). With period Gamleys shop label and date 1958.
Some original tools and key. With Brochure.
