Seldom seen in any condition, this is a close to mint example to fill that gap in your Dinky commercial collection.
The Big Bedford Lorry in this distinctive light pink and cream shade was released in relatively few numbers.
This example has a glossy and distinctive paint finish and well-shaped grey treaded tyres. Spare stowed. Note as is usual, the earlier 522 numbering on the base, since a new casting was not made when the model was given the new number 408.
Barely a mark to the paint finish, although there are just a few small touch-ins to the cab.
The yellow lift-off lid pictorial box is complete and brightly-coloured. A little surface part-split to the paper covering at an edge and a little of the usual shelf rubbing to the box base underside. Sunfading to the lower half of the box not covered by the lid.
